March Inn

Why"March Inn?" March Inn was the name of that magic place where I spent my summers growing up. I have alluded to this place before, and I probably will again. March Inn is no longer standing. The waters of Katrina rendered it unlivable so my children will never know that "March Inn." That makes me sad. In fact it brings me to tears whenever I think about it. I want my children to have their own "March Inn," and I want to capture our lives as they are growing and changing. I invite you to "march inn" to our lives. My hope is that you will catch glimpses of the real world. You will see our creations. You will see our chaos. You will see our affection. You will also see our frustrations, fears, and disappointments. Enjoy your march!

Football and Helicopters

Okay, see I really am trying to be better at this. We have had a fabulous fall Saturday. We went for a long (when I say long I mean a 1+ hour - up and down big hills) family walk this morning. As you can imagine with our three little ones we are a two jog stroller family. I'm sure it is comical to pass us, but it sure is nice to all be out enjoying the fresh air together.

Mary Frances had a precious friend come play. They were so sweet to each other and to her brothers. It made my heart smile!

I made a Sam's run and went to the grocery store.

Now for the best part...

During the kiddos nap Frank played golf with his dad, and I pleated an outfit for each of my boys and two bishop dresses for Mary Frances.

Then Frank and I prepared dinner so it would be ready to eat once his parents arrived.

Even better...

During the Auburn game and basically the second half once the children were asleep I smocked (minus the backsmocking) an entire outfit for Walker. Granted it was only one helicopter for a Cory's Bubble.
Maybe I can get it put together quickly. Will post pictures of my bristle bean when completed!
